Property Access & Lockbox Policy

Effective date: October 23, 2026

Safe, reliable access helps your cleaning visit run smoothly. We agree on an entry method with you before service. This policy explains Gleamr-owned loaner lockboxes and the safeguards for keys and access instructions.

Approved loaner lockboxes

Gleamr may offer a company-owned loaner lockbox to approved recurring customers. Availability is not guaranteed. The box remains Gleamr property. Installation requires your permission and an agreed location suitable for the property and the device; obtain any required landlord or association permission. We will not install it in a way that knowingly creates an unreasonable security or damage risk.

The agreed key stays secured at your property rather than routinely traveling between homes. Each loaner box has an individual code managed by Gleamr. Codes are shared only with authorized personnel or service providers who need access for the agreed work, and are not routinely disclosed to customers or other third parties. Gleamr may change codes for security, staffing or access-management reasons. A customer may ask the office for an authorized access arrangement, subject to reasonable identity and authority checks.

Do not move, manipulate, reset, lend, share access to or misuse a loaner box without our authorization. If it is damaged, stuck or in the way, contact the office; do not force it. Keep an independent key or other reliable means of entering your home. The loaner is not an emergency-entry service or your sole access method. Keys must not carry identifying address labels.

Permission to enter your home

Your permission covers access needed for confirmed visits within the agreed arrival window and duration, plus separately authorized corrective visits or retrieval arrangements. It does not permit arbitrary arrival, unrelated access or entry after permission is withdrawn. A lockbox does not change our generally two-hour arrival window. Tell us about alarm settings, gates, pets, occupants and any change to access permissions before the appointment.

Other access methods

Customer-owned lockboxes, smart locks, hidden-key arrangements or a key entrusted to Gleamr require separate agreement. The loaner-box rule that a key stays on site does not describe every alternative arrangement. We will agree who may hold a key or code and how it will be returned or removed. Avoid putting permanent security credentials in ordinary email or personal employee messages; use the designated access-instruction process.

Lost keys, compromised codes and incidents

Notify Gleamr promptly at 909-326-0292 and hello@gleamr.pro if you suspect a missing key, compromised code, unauthorized access or damaged device. If there is an immediate danger or suspected crime, contact appropriate emergency services. We will verify requests, review the circumstances, restrict or change compromised access where appropriate, and coordinate reasonable protective steps with an authorized person. Any locksmith, rekeying or other response depends on the incident; we do not impose an arbitrary liability cap or excuse our own negligence.

Returning the box and key

When recurring service ends or the loaner arrangement is withdrawn, we arrange retrieval of Gleamr's box and safe return of your key or another agreed key-return method. Do not leave a key unsecured for retrieval. We confirm the handoff and stop using access permission that has ended. Customer-owned codes should be changed by the customer when appropriate.

A reasonable replacement charge for customer-caused loss or damage may apply only if its amount or basis was disclosed and accepted in advance and the charge is lawful. There is no automatic undisclosed fee or unlimited stored-card authorization. No customer charge applies simply because Gleamr elects to replace its own equipment. Responsibility for an incident follows the facts and applicable law.
